TASK 1. WRITE, WITH YOUR OWN WORDS, A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE MAIN IDEAS OF THE TEXT. READING AND WRITING.
Develop reading skills in a foreign language will be greater when there has been strong reading skills in their native language.
When children learn to read in their L1 successfully develop different forms of consciousness. The challenge for children is to find out how print represents sound.Most teachers use a balance of activities that focus on sounds, letters and words.
Children in many countries will have a working knowledge of the Roman alphabet although children for countries with a different alphabet will need to spend more time learning.
Is essential that the teacher knows the child feels so pleasant reading, with dialogues and pictures to help them understand how thestory unfolds.
To better organize students can highlight specific words with blue or red colors.
These activities students are motivated, noting the differences between the alphabets of English and Spanish as well as the frequency with which are repeated letters in words, etc
Learning of reading activities includes the development of phonological skills.
When using a working group readingactivities must be clearly labeled by colors to show their level of difficulty, so that children can organize and work independently.
To learn to write, writing activities tend to focus on the word or phrase only in writing, pencil control
Children who are learning English cannot write much in the early years.

The sophomores can go to practice writing and very simple sentences, and short textkids enjoy personal writing
With the visual style, students respond to the forms of the words in ear style is best for learning to play the voice because they can recognize the relationship between sounds and letters.

SOME GUIDELINES FOR THE WRITTEN SUPPORT IN THE CLASROOM
* Reinforce the connection between writing and speaking English

* Have special "letter days" where children bring in things which begin in English with a particular letter.

The basic procedure of dictoglos is to prepare the pupils with a series of activities that were made after the reading of a story which they were listening a pair of times and they will have tomark the words keys of the list.

The pupils are struggling to incorporate their own words or meanings into sentences or texts which are not so tightly controlled, the teacher may be more inclined to comment on the content and the child´s willingness to "have a go" at writing.

TASK 2: ANALYZING MATERIALS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BOTH READING AND WRITING SKILLS.

1- What is the aim of usingreading and writing activities in the L2 classroom?
The intention is that the pupils develop better its skills of writing and reading with different activities in which together with its partners to learn English in a way more fun
2- Should the reading and writing activities be used at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of each English session?. Explain why or why not.
From mypoint of view, I believe that the reading and writing activities should be used in the middle of the meeting of English because before there is a need for a review of the knowledge that they have been given in previous classes and finish the meeting with any game to get a motivation for session following
3- Taking the different types of activities as a starting point, try to identify theirpurpose, the materials you need to carry them out and also the way they must be developed.
1) The teacher shows a picture, says the word and pupils repeat. For example: look! An elephant. Repeat!. When the teacher is satisfied with her pupil’s pronunciation, she can move on to another word.
The purpose is to introduce new vocabulary or structures, to focus on form and pronunciation.
