Only One Mother

Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.

Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the world wide over.  Mother’s Work Song(Sung to Coming’ Round the Mt.)   Oh, a mother’s work is never ever done,. And she doesn’t have much time for play or fun. It’s a struggle to get through it, Only mothers seem to do it Yes, a mother’s work is never ever done! So we thank you, mom, for all you say and do. And we thank you for your love; we love you, too.
