The Program in Medical Education(PME) at Harvard Medical School is the organizational structure housing the educational programs leading to the MD degree. Under the leadership of the Dean for Medical Education and the Associate Deanfor Medical Education Planning and Administration, the offices of the PME are responsible for all aspects of the educational plan and for development and review of educational policies.
Academic andAdministrative Organizational Structure
Five academic units report to the Dean for Medical Education, who also serves as chair of the Curriculum Committee (see Curriculum Governance). These unitsinclude Admissions; the Academic Societies; the Academy/Center for Teaching and Learning; the Center for Evaluation; and Student Affairs.
