describing routine

hi i am rosemary. i am a nurse at the local hospital. this is a description of my day´s activities.

i get up at aroundsix in the morning and take a shower. i turn on the radio. i get dressed, i make my bed and i have breakfast. if the weather is good i go out for o short walk, or else i do some exercise at home.sometimes i get lazy and sleep on a while.

for breakfast i have cereal or egg on toast and a cupof coffee or tea. sometimes i have a sausage or some baked beans.

i must leave the house ataround 7:30. my flat is not very close to the hospital. i walk to the bus stop and i take a bus. at this time there are many people going to work, and the buses are full. however, i usually manage toget to the hospital a little ahead of time.

hospital work is varied. each patient is a caseof his or her own. i do the rounds of the beds, give them their medicine and look after each patient accordng to his circustances. once a week, on saturdays, i am on duty in the pediatric ward.-------------------------------------------------
