ABSTRACT Objectives: We sought to determine the extent of intracultural consensus in perceptions ofchildhood obesity among Mexican American mothers living on the Texas-Mexico border. Results: We found considerable intracultural variation in women's judgments, which could not be explained by the anthropometric and survey variables tested.
