I write you this letter to show my interest in following an English course at your school. My name is Jason Life andI am 18 years old. I did VWO on a high school in the Netherlands; I do not know how to explain exactly what VWO is. It is like the A-levels in the UK. It isalmost one of the highest educations (level) you can get on a high school in my country. (give the reason for writing)

I would like to follow your coursebecause I am very interested in your language and I would like to learn a lot more about it. I think it is a very important language, and it is also veryimportant for the society.

Is it possible that I start the course next school year? And what kind of course/level would you advise me to start with?
