Chapter 1

One morning in December the Linares family was in the holidays house in Colón, when they usually spent their holidays.
Mr. Linares was owner of many banks in the city. María, the daughter of Mr. Linares, arrived from París where she finished her studies. When she came back she found many wealthy suitors in thestreet, she was beautiful and her delicacy delight at everyone.
(María llega a la casa)
María: Good morning everybody!
Father: Good morning María! Did you enjoy the trip?
María: yes! But it is a little stressful.I am very tired! What are the men doing outside!
Mother: oh! Mm! would you like a cup of tea?
María: sure!

(cerrar)

Her father had have a suitor for María, Mr. Brawn abusinessman.Mría had an argument with her father for his election.

María: Father! I am not going to get married at Mr. Brawn, he is an oldman and he has a daughter who is my age, Anna.
Father: I decide for you! I am your father! You have to obey.
María: Ohh!
(crying)

Chapter 2

The preparatives for the wedding were ready. The guests were all people of high society. But María wasn´t convicedabout the wedding and her mother went to her room and she said_
Mother: María! I know that! You don´t like Mr.Brawn but you must get married at him, he is an important man, he has got a lot of money.Please daughter!
María: Oh! You are right!

Before the wedding Anna the daughter of Mr. Brawn in an inesperate visit went to Linares house and she talked to María.

Anna: Hello! How are you?María: What are you doing here?
Anna. Oh! Your dress is amazing! Well, I have to tell you something.
Maria: What?
Anna: It is hard but it is the true!
My father is broken! He hasn´t got any money. He is a lier. He wants to stay with your money.
María: Oh! That´s terrible! I can´t believe it!
Anna: It is true! You are my friend and I never tell you lies. Well, Good Bye!
Think it!

Twentyminutes later

Father: María! María! Where are you? The wedding is starting. María please!
Oh! Juana María´s bedroom is empty!
María: It is the end!
(llanto y risas malvadas)

María had disappeared and she never appeared. She died in the river with her beautiful wedding dress!
