I´ve divided my explanation into five parts : The definition of my topic, it´shistory, the countries who currently use and over all the United States, methods and International organizations.
Finally, my objective today is to make a review for the different legal systems and thehuman rights and the conflicts with the capital punishment.

* Let´s start said there aremany words that mean the same, like “Death penalty” o “Death sentence” and this is a legal process whereby a person is put to death by the state as a punishment for a crime. Crimes that can result in adeath penalty are known as capital crimes or capital offences. The term “capital” originates from the Latin: capitalis, literally "regarding the head".
* The death of criminals and politicaldissidents have been used by some societies at a time in its history for punish crime and to suppress political dissent.
Currently the death penalty has been abolished and penalized in almost allEuropean countries (except Belarus) and the most part in Oceania (like Australia, New Zealand).
* Now, I´m going to talk about the countries who currently use and the countries who haveabolished. Most Latin American countries have abolished the death penalty, while in countries like the United States is still applied. In Asia the death penalty is allowed in democracies such as Japan andIndia.
* I would like to turn to the following methods of execution permitted for use in 2010 and I am going to illustrate this by showing you 2 photos:
