SIMPLE PRESENT

Para conjugar el presente simple usamos el infinitivo para los sujetos "I", "you", "we" y "they" y para las terceras personas "he", "she" y "it", añadimos un "-s" al final delverbo.

Nota: Ten en cuenta que los verbos que terminen en "-o" añadimos "-es".

1.-Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)

Ejemplos:
Play I talk. (Yo hablo.)
Play He eats. (Él come.)
Play They learn. (Ellos aprenden.)Estructura Sujeto + verbo principal. |

2.-Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)
Estructura Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to do") + auxiliar negativo ("not") + verbo principal. |

Ejemplos:Play I do not [don't] talk. (Yo no hablo.)
Play He does not [doesn't] eat. (Él no come.)
Play They do not [don't] learn. (Ellos no aprenden.)
Nota: En frases negativas, el verbo auxiliar ("to do")cambia y el verbo principal es en el infinitivo.

3.-Interrogative Sentences (Frases interagotivas)
Ejemplos:
Play Do you talk? (¿Hablas tú?)
Play Does he eat? (¿Come él?)
Play Do theylearn? (¿Aprenden ellos?)
Estructura Verbo auxiliar ("to do") + sujeto + verbo principal? |

Nota: Como en frases negativas, en frases interrogativas el verbo auxiliar ("to do") cambia y el verboprincipal es en el infinitivo.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE

Definición
El presente progresivo o continuo es un tiempo verbal del presente el cual se usa en dos casos:

1.-Para describir hechos oacciones que el sujeto está realizando al momento de hablar.

2.-Para hablar acerca de una acción o planes que vamos a realizar en un futuro cercano.
