1).What is aparagraph?
A paragraph is a unit of speech in written text that expresses an idea or an argument, or reproduce the words of one speaker. Consists of a set of sentences that have some thematic unityor, without one, are set together. A component of the text in its appearance begins with a capital letter and ends in a paragraph. Includes several related sentences on the same sub, one of whichexpresses the main idea.
2).Kind of paragraph?
* Narrative: Chronological also called, consists of a sequence of statements that do not require collateral or demonstration of their skills. It istypical of a story, a chronicle or story in which state facts in chronological order. Type connectors can appear temporary as after then a month ago, to start, then eventually, but the description of thesequence of events more often depends on its position in the text.
* Descriptive: Presents through the words roll-motor ability of a human being. A descriptive paragraph supports the use of theword and presents an image to readers-sensory receptors. Through a descriptive paragraph, an author uses all their senses to outline the attributes of objects and events perceived. The more detail theway the author used in his delineation of what is perceived, the better the image of the reader / receiver as described above.
* Argument: It seeks to express opinions or refute to persuade arecipient. The purpose of the author can be proven or demonstrate an idea (or thesis), refute the contrary or persuade or dissuade the receiver on certain behaviors, events or ideas.
* Exhibition: Usedto explain or further develop the topic being presented. These are usually larger and more abundant, depending on the complexity of the topic or concept being explained.
