IT Lives
The technological revolution is a fact and we have notice that our lives are controlled by technological advances. We are supposed tobe freer but instead of that, we are slaves of our “smartphones”, last generation laptops, networks and other products of nowadays technologic.
We needour mobile phone everything and the person who has decided not to use it, is margined by the rest of the society. We require our mobile phone to work, toget communicate with family who can be in the other part of the world or just to talk with friends for planning the weekend. In addition to this, thanksto networks we are 24/7 connecting with our telephone contacts. Not only have we had Facebook or Skype in the personal computer, now we can use theseapplications in our Iphone or Samsung galaxy.
In my personal life, I’m more known as “the man glued to his phone”. I used because I need it to make myuniversity tasks due to the fact that we always work in groups. Moreover, I use it to take photos, to speak with friends who are abroad by video call and ofcourse, to call my parents or grandparents which don’t use instant messaging. Apart from that, I have games and other applications that make easier myday-to-day life.
So, taking all these into account we have to be conscious that we live in a society where we are technologic-dependants. All of this leads meto the conclusion that mobile phones and computers should carry a government health warming: technology can seriously control our lives and personalities.
