The palace Potala in the Tibet
The Potala Palace is located in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. The Potala Palace has been the chief residence of the Dalai Lama time ago, before that the 14th Dalai Lama fled to Dharamsala, India, during the 1959 Tibetan uprising.
The building is 400 metres wide east-west and 350 metres north-south, with stone walls averaging 3 m. thick, and 5 m. thickat the base, containing over 1,000 rooms, 10,000 shrines and about 200,000 statues.
the Great Fifth Dalai Lama, started the construction of the modern Potala Palace in 1645. The external structure was built in 3 years, while the interior, together with its furnishings took 45 years to complete.
Perched on a hill and 130 meters above the Lhasa valley, the Potala Palace, is the largest structurein Tibet.
The Potala Palace was only slightly damaged during the Tibetan uprising against the Chinese invasion in 1959. Unlike most religious structures, it not sacked by the Red Guards during the 1960s and 1970s. As a result, all the chapels and their artifacts are very well preserved.
Mont Saint Michel
Mont St Michel France is situated on an island off the coast of Normandy, France.Unlike other castles in France, which began as defensive structures, Mont St Michel began as a monastery.
the Castle is the most visited in France, attracts over four million visitors a year, far more than most castles there.
This Castle has appeared in numerous films, cartoons and video games, even.
The Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay are part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.Predjama Castle
Predjama Castle is a Renaissance castle built within a cave mouth in south-central Slovenia, in the historical region of Inner Carniola. It is located approximately 11 kilometres from the town of Postojna.
Each castle in the world is unique in some way, no two are alike, but even though this is rather small and humble compared to others,Is probably that this castle is the only one inthe world that is built into a cave.

Neuschwanstein Castle
Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany.
The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner
The palace was intended as a personal refuge for the reclusive king,but it was opened to public immediately after his death in 1886.
Since then over 60 million people have visited Neuschwanstein Castle. More than 1.3 million people visit annually, with up to 6,000 per day in the summer.
The palace has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Cinderella Castle and later, similar structures.
The most famous of three royalpalaces built for Louis II of Bavaria, Neuschwanstein is a royal palace in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. The castle is the embodiment of 19th century romanticism. In a great imitation of a medieval castle, Neuschwanstein is set with many towers and is situated dramatically on a high in Pullat River Gorge.
Most tourists are familiar with this castle because it was the inspiration for Disney in therealization of the castle in Sleeping Beauty.

Matsumoto Castle
Matsumoto Castle, locally known as Matsumotojo, is one of the most complete and beautiful castles of Japan original. It is also a good example of what is called "hirajiro", a castle built in the plain and not on a hill or mountain. The matsumoto castle built between1592-1614 and was very well defended and that peace was not fullyguaranteed in those years
