Water is considered to be the most important natural resource for all living organisms. Our planet is mostly made up water but just a small amount of this water is consumable. Nowdays, human kind is facing a problem that not most countries do encounter but eventually would do, and is the scarcity of water. Scientists estimate that in the year 2025, about 1.8 billion people willsuffer of water scarcity around the world. This is something we all must worry about. Some countries in modern days are suffering from water scarcity, countries located in Africa, Europe and MiddleEast. In South Africa some countries suffer from water scarcity but are not consider such a big problem compare to other countries across the Atlantic. Most of the people ignore this information and donot give water its proper value. Studies reveal that in United States, the average consumer’s daily life is about 2,000 gallons a day, making the United States a country that consumes twice as much asother countries in the world. Many people waste enormous amounts of water through simple activities they do during the day which seem normal to them. For example, we can save water just by closingthe faucet when we are taking a bath and only opening it when we need to rinse our body. There are many simple things we can do to save water. This is where education becomes fundamental. Educatingpeople about their water consumption is key to avoid so much waste and misuse of water. Unfortunately many of our leaders do not realize the extreme importance of water and what a valuable resource weshare. This is the case of our country, Honduras. According to UNICEF, Honduras is home to the biggest water sources of Central America and this is data is not escaping the attention of ambitiousentrepreneurs from around the world.
