Yumbo is a small, industrial city and municipality in western Colombia. It is located in the Valle del Cauca department, just north of Cali. Of warm climate, in the day anaverage temperature of 30ºC

TYPICAL FOODSancocho, is a popular soup, It combines vegetables and poultry or fish , but usually contains yuca, maize, and is frequently eaten with banana.

Champús is a thick drink made from corn, pineapple,lulo, and other ingredients.

Salpicón made from diced fruit and soda, usually Colombiana or any Kola flavored soda. It can also be a fruit cocktail beverage.

Lulada is a drink It is preparedwith lulo and has the texture and consistency of a smoothie.

Manjarblanco is version of Arequipe but is thicker.

Pandebono is a type of bread made of corn flour, cassava starch, cheese and eggs.Traditionally, it is consumed while still warm with hot chocolate a few minutes after baking.

And empanadas, are made with dough bread , which usually consists of a variety of meat.

TOURISMMulaló also known like the Pueblito Vallecaucano,of the Municipality of Yumbo
