Insects
Insects reproduce sexually so there must be some kind of intercourse between a male and female insect. Which both have a different type ofreproductive system, lets start with the femal first. The femal reproductive system is composed of ovaries ,which are made of egg tubes called ovarioles,Accessory glands which produce substances for spermmaintenance and protection of eggs, and spermathecae which are sacs in which sperm is tored between the time of mating and egg fertalizing.
While the male’s reproductive system is made of testis which issuspended by a trachea and the fat body. The testis contain sperm tubes or follicles which are tubes that lead to the outside . The place where insect store their sperm is called seminal vesicleswhich have glandular linings that have nutrients for nourishment and maintanence of the sperm. Their ejaculatory duct is derived from an invagination of epidermal cell during the development.
Otherreproductive system in insect include haplodiploidy,which the offsprign is determined by set of chromosomes, polymorphism, where the species have many morphs or forms, paedomorphosis, where phenotypes...
