The installation wizard for Microsoft Windows installs all the software and components that you require for running Alfresco. 1. Double-click the downloaded file.Alfresco-Community-3.2r2-Full-Setup.exe

You may see an Open File - Security Warning message, prompting you to verify that you wish to run this software. To run the installation wizard, click Run. 2.At the Language Selection prompt, select English, and click OK. 3. When prompted to confirm that you want to install Alfresco on your computer, click Yes. The Installation wizard launches. 4. In theWelcome to the InstallJammer Wizard for Alfresco Community Edition window, click Next. 5. In the Setup Type window, select Typical. The Typical option selects all the components required for theAlfresco full installation. Note: By default, Alfresco installs an embedded MySQL database instance, which is installed locally in the Alfresco directory. If you already have an existing MySQL database onyour machine, you will be prompted to specify an alternative database port after the installation starts. 6. Click Next. 7. In the Choose Destination Location window, click Next to accept the defaultlocation for Alfresco or click Browse to choose another location. 8. In the Start Copying Files window, review the settings, and click Next. The installation starts. A prompt notifies you whenOpenOffice is being installed. 9. In the Alfresco Administrator Account window, type a password. Repeat the password, and then click Next. This password is for the Administrator user account. 10. (Optional) Ifyou have an existing MySQL database, the Database Configuration window notifies you that the default database port 3306 is already used by the embossed MySQL database, and prompts you to enter theroot password of your chosen database and an alternative database port. 11.
