International Trade between Spain and France

I chose Spain and France because France and Spain economic maintain a close relationship: France is the first trading partner of Spain. More than a thousand French companies have implemented in Spain while this country is one of the major trading partners of France.

CHAPTER 1
Merchandise and commercial services trade
* Country’s exportvolume
Spain (2012)
Capital goods
Exports of capital goods sector recorded an increase of 0.2% in the first half and reported a total of 21.166 million including product revenue in this area. Within it, highlights the machinery industry reported 5935.6 million and the construction material transport (4,859 million), with special emphasis on use of roads (though decreased compared to last year).Yes fell especially the export of the material for the construction of ships with a 71.6% less.

Food
The sale of food gain weight (16746.2 million), up 9.5%, to the detriment of other sectors such as automobiles, which lost 9.9% of importance in the first half. The Spanish garden was the queen in this area with a total of 6893.9 million € from the sale of fruits and vegetables. Stood behind themeat (2229.6 million), beverages (1558.4 million) and fishing (1,412 million). Despite the good figures for exports, we must bear in mind that Spain maintained a high level of food purchases abroad involving a total of 13.459 million €, with a predominant weight drinks imported from abroad.

Car
Despite being the third sector with 16.238 million in sales, was the only one who saw a fall of 9.9%from January to June. The decline in car buying imports also brought down in this area by 9.3%, but still poses a high figure of 12,787,000.
Chemicals
Represented a total of 15.894 million in revenue. In this sector, the more medicines exported were 4338.3 million worth and secondly, plastics (4.211,9 million).
Textiles, footwear and toys
Positive figures in this area (8,932,000 in the secondhalf) were overshadowed by data even more goods were imported 11.648 million €. However, the trend is clearly in favor of Spain with an increase in exports (6.8%) compared with a decline in imports (-8.5%).

Energy sector
Here we find the Achilles heel of Spain. We have a large dependence on foreign energy products (31,145,000 in imports in the first half of 2012) as oil and derivatives(24,173,000), gas (5,941 billion) and coal and electricity (1031.4 million). Spanish exports in this area are far away and just assumed 7.398 million in the same period.

France
The top positions in the ranking are occupied by import industrial products, the mechanical, electrical, electronic and computer, and transport equipment. This classification has remained stable over the past three years. Moreover, the evolution of the importation of these products has been positive since 2009, year in which there is a significant decline in imports is likely a result of the crisis, and in some cases assume significant increases of around 30%. As for exports, we see the same pattern found in imported products. In this Thus, the year 2009 was characterized by a marked decrease from the previous year, but the trend export flow is reversed to the upside starting in 2010, pattern repeated in 2011. Not all sectors were affected in the same way in 2009, looking particularly damaged natural hydrocarbons and other products from the mining industry as well asrefined petroleum products and coal. Nevertheless, if we take the data from 2009 and 2011, is notes that all sectors have increased the value ofexports, as was the case imports.
