Mi bisabuelo se llamaba Pedro Chavez Salazar nacio el dia 23 de mayo del 1912, en la comuna de Ercilla, en la Novena Region, cerca de Temuco. En 1931, secaso con Maria Fuentes , mi bisabuela. Fue dueño de mas de 50 hectareas, por lo que se dedico a cultivar la tierra y a vivir de ella,su mayor producia fue eltrigo, lo que tambien le permitio generar una fuente laboral para muchos de la zona. Fue un hombre que amaba la vida en familia y disfrutaba cuando estabanjuntos. Sin embargo, teniendo los recursos necesarios, nunca se preocupo de fomentar el estudio en sus hijos, cuyo ejemplo esta en mi abuelo, nacido en 1932.Quizas en su lucha por mantener una familia, creyo que el tambien debia trabajar y no estudiar para hacerse de un futuro y de igual forma para el resto de susgeneraciones.







My grandfather's name was Pedro Chavez Salazar was born on May 23, 1912, in the commune of Ercilla, in the Ninth Region, nearTemuco. In 1931, he married Maria Fuentes, my great-grandmother.
