POR LOS CLIENTES DE ESTABLECIMIENTOS
TERMALES A TRAVÉS DEL ANÁLISIS

Aceptado: 9 de noviembre de 2004Resumen: La calidad es lo que los clientes dicen que es, es decir, los clientes son los que tienen
la última palabra sobre la calidad. Por ello, y aunque existen numerosas definiciones de calidad
deservicio, la mayoría de ellas se centran en alcanzar las necesidades y los requerimientos
de los consumidores y en conocer hasta qué punto el servicio prestado alcanza sus expectativas.
En estesentido, entendemos que el conocimiento tanto de las percepciones como de
las expectativas de los clientes debe ser el punto de partida de una investigación que pretenda
la medición de la calidad deservicio percibida. Por eso el presente trabajo se centra en el estudio
de ambos elementos para el caso de los clientes de establecimientos termales.

EVALUATION OF THERMAL TOURISTS’ PERCEIVED SERVICE QUALITY THROUGH
THE ANALYSIS OF THEIR EXPECTATIONS AND PERCEPTIONS
Abstract: Quality is what the clients saythat it is, that is to say, the clients have the last word
about the quality. Although there are a lot of definitions of service quality, most of them are focused
in reaching the consumers’ needsand requirements, and in how well the borrowed service
reaches the clients’ expectations. In this sense, we think that the knowledge of the perceptions
like of the expectations of the clients, mustbe the starting point of any investigation that seeks to
