During the trip, we went to the Azteca Soccer Stadium in Mexico City, our team found this very interesting because we were actually able to go inside the stadium and touchthe grass that the teams play on. We also went into the locker rooms, and took pictures along the way. Another interesting thing was that they told us that because of thechanges they made to the stadium, 105 thousand people are now able to be seated and watch the games. After explaining this, they told us that the stadium was designed with someecho technology that made the visitors chants be heard even on the other side. We tried this out, and started screaming and chanting and it was true, there was a strong echo, even though not everyone on the trip was chanting along with us. One thing that was a bit annoying, was that we were in the hallways where all the teams were listed, andtrucks kept passing by interrupting us. During this trip to the stadium, we learned a lot about the sponsors of the stadium, the way it was designed, and the maintenance of thegrass. Our team liked going here, because we had the chance that many people would want to have, we had the chance to go on a tour of the complete stadium and go into theplaces where other people are prohibited.
During our trip, we went to Six Flags Mexico, which our team enjoyed quite a lot. As soon as we entered, they showed us apresentation on how they run the business, and how the staff is organized. This took about 45 minutes of our time, but after that, it was all fun and games. We got on a lot of therides, which turned our stomachs inside out. We also payed for a “Night of Terror” where we walked through haunted houses, being scared by clowns, zombies, and other things.
