As we said before, our market is going to be Colombia. We know that this country has several troubles that it must face. One of the most important in terms ofcommercialization of our product is the channels of distribution. Colombia has difficulties in that fact, because it does not have enough roads and also the state of these is awful,especially in rural zones like towns that don´t have enough infrastructure and access ways. So possibly people who are living in those places may not get a hold of our product. Despitethe trouble marketers of Today condoms face, the product reaches consumers almost everywhere in the country, because most of the Colombian area have a lot of pharmacies available,except for extremely far away areas like for example villagers immersed deep within the Amazon rainforest.
Another gap that takes place mostly in poor towns and rural placesis that some people are illiterate and maintain their conservative values, so many think that our product goes against to their beliefs. They believe our product just sells sex,and assume that it encourages people to become more promiscuous but they do not realize that our product is not just selling sex; we are selling protection and safety for an actthat already exists and takes place. This is the main idea of the creation of Today condoms: to increase safe sex relationships with a product that does not alter the satisfactionand pleasure people experience during intercourse.
