PREFACIO
El presente trabajo pretende familiarizar al estudiante de “Materiales en Ingeniería” de una manera básica con el enorme campo de los materiales usados en la industriapara la fabricación de productos cada vez más y más variados. Debido a los conocimientos relativamente precarios que en este nivel poseemos he decidido, principalmente, hacer mención de manera rápida y adaptándola en cuanto me es posible al ámbito doméstico para lograr una mayor comprensión, sin embargo, debido a la complejidad del tema es necesario y recomiendo, que paralelo a la lectura de estetrabajo se cuente con material especializado a la mano como ayuda para ahondar en las ideas e información que aquí expongo.
Así pues, la función verdadera de este trabajo consiste en ser el puente que el estudiante pueda usar para pasar de conocimientos básicos a textos profesionales y especializados en el futuro.
