Job Title: Import Coordinator
1 - POSITION SUMMARY:
Arranges the movement of the CY cargo and she serves as the single point of coordination between customerand the Shipping.
2 - MAIN RESPONSABILITIES OF POSITION:
Import Support
* Promptly keep customers informed about release or changes which will have an impact on them and answer any questions theymay have in relation to these changes.
* Review that all Master bills are released before vessel arrives to Panama.
* Guide customers end to end whenever they request information about acontainer.
* Be part of the solution and coordinate the actions to solve the Customer´s issues.
* Check that all containers are custom manifested before discharge on SICE [Customs ElectronicSystem]. That all virtual movements are properly made and conclude by local customs authorities on SICE.
* The monitor Rail compliance for Import Cargo and coordinate with the Shipping some delays ofcontainers or as well as cancellation requeted by customer´s prior deadlines (48 hrs before vessel arrives to Panama).
Claims Support
* To receive customer claims notification and request themwith complete documentation in order to process each incident.
* To inform local customer when Customs Authorities inspect or seize their cargo (the charges wont be included on system because thecustomer will can paid it directly to the shipping agency).
* Longstanding follow up. Send longstanding notification to our customers (when we receive message by Maersk where some units awaiting tobe returned.
* Be part of the Solution and coordinate the actions to solve the Customer´s issues.
