In Asia are the following formations:
In the north Asian plain.
In the central area a series of high plateaus such as Iran, Pamir, Tibet and Mongolia. The Pamir and Tibet are locatedat 3,600 m and 5,000 m respectively, which are known as the Roof of the World. There are also a number of young mountain ranges: the Zagros Mountains, the Karakoram and the Himalayas, where thehighest point on earth: Mount Everest (8,848 m).
In eastern China Plain.
In the south the Deccan Plateau and Plain Indochina.
The relief is completed with a series of alluvial plains, where large riverspass.
Climate
Asia has a great diversity of climate and vegetation from the dry desert landscapes to the lush tropical jungle, and geographical features found in many types of climates.
WarmClimates
The main types of warm weather in Asia are: equatorial, tropical, moist and dry desert. The first two, characterized by abundant rainfall spread throughout Southeast Asia, both in the mainland ofthe peninsula of Hindustan and Indochina, as in the island of the archipelagos of Indonesia and the Philippines
For its part, the desert climate and dry tropical, where rainfall is low, occurring inthe Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, Iran and central Asia.
Along with these climates, in the south and east monsoon climate also gives a specific climate range in Asia, whose main characteristicis the displacement of air masses from the ocean to the continent during the summer and in winter the opposite direction . Because of this, the monsoon climate has seasonal rains and an oscillation ofthe daily and annual temperature higher than in the equatorial climate. They are classified into: tropical rainforest, tropical monsoon climate, temperate rainforest, dry climate, Mediterraneanclimate.
Temperate
The main types of temperate Asia are continental, continental climate is cold and dry winters and warm summers and more precipitation. It occurs in the Siberian region.
