In “The Bachelorette Who Set Us Free” by Anita Hamilton, in TIME magazine based on Jen
Schefft’s critic Anita tries to justify her spinsters. She looks for strong arguments to support
herstill single status. She looked up the article and got afraid of being an old maid frowned by
society. But, because there are many reasons why not to marry, no one is worthy of judging
thespinsters. Both men and women should choose their perfect partner before to get marry.
All people have qualities and defects. In my opinion a good candidate to marry must have
honesty, responsibility, anda lot of others qualities.
First, to possess honesty a person must be truthful, reliable, trustworthy, and open all at the
same time. Honesty takes on the virtues of truthfulness and fills inthe gaps. To be honest
means to be willing to tell the truth even at the cost of a personal risk and be open and truthful
unconditionally. A person who is honest doesn’t have to be asked to tellthe truth. Honesty by
far the much more admirable feature, simply because its difficulty to attain and maintain.
Besides honesty, a good candidate whom to marry have to be responsible.Responsibility is a
characteristic that can make any individual success in life. People’s idea about responsibility
difers depending on how they were brought up and the type of situation they have learndfrom. Many individuals do not have hard work ethic and did not have to learn from personal
experience will have a much different idea of responsibility than individual who does.
Therefore,responsibility is another virtue that men and women must possess before to start a
relationship.

Finally, beside honesty and responsibility, there are many others virtues that a partner mustcomply with. However, any individual should be willing for obstacles. For example, economic
