On this movie we can see that in some places the ruling class or like the movies named it, the capitol, is managed by people ofhigh class, then we have the other people or the districts. They have a annual televised reality show in which one boy and one girl of the 12 districtsare chosen for fighting to death on a kind of virtually managed place, which of course it is managed by the Capitol and the sponsors. When thesister of Katniss is chosen for going to the hunger games Katniss volunteers to take her place because she thought that if her little sister goes theother districts will kill her. They enter to a kind of arena with all the people screaming for the twelve districts that were like the Roman Empire.Peeta also showed that he didn’t want the Capitol to control him so he said Katniss that he didn’t want to kill anyone. When one district killed thelittle girl named Rue, Katniss showed that her thoughts or values were not the same as the ones of the capitol managers, she made Rue a bed of plants andsang her the song she promised to sing if she die, and that offended the capitol. Also, she showed her values when she rescued Peeta and she takescare of him. One of the managers had to kill himself because he did something wrong and that was his punishment which was kind of ridiculous. Katnissand Peeta survived, and I think they deserved it because Rue and both of them where the only one of the 24 participants that had human values.
