Good morning my name is Mauricio and today we are going to hand out a formula 1 car in honor of Sebastian Vettel , but before I tell you who is he and what he did to deserve this car.
SebastianVettel is a German Formula One racing driver, currently driving for Red Bull Racing. He is the current World Champion, having won the championship in 2010 and 2011.Vettel was born in Heppenheim, WestGermany. He has one younger brother, Fabian, and two older sisters, Melanie and Stefanie . Vettel lives in Switzerland near other racing drivers. He has described himself as competitive, private andimpatient. Vettel also appears in advertisements for Head & Shoulders. In the German version of Cars 2, Vettel featured as a voice-over.
He deserves this prize because in his first year driving forRed Bull in 2009, Vettel finished the season as the youngest-ever World Drivers' championship runner-up. He also secured Red Bull's first position and race win in the team's history. The following yearhe went on to become the youngest driver ever to win the World Drivers' Championship. In the same year he helped Red Bull win the team's first World Constructors' Championship. He followed up hisfirst championship with a second in 2011, becoming the youngest consecutive champion.
Vettel has a lot of other "youngest" Formula One records, such as, the youngest driver to have taken part in anofficial practice session of a Grand Prix, to score championship points, to lead a race, to secure pole position, and to win a race.He has the fastest lap-time for a Formula One driver on BBC2's Top Gear program in the "Star in Reasonably-Priced Car" segment, with a lap of 1:44.0,beating Rubens Barrichello, and the old Stig, Ben Collins time.
