Bárbara: Hellooooooo!, in today’sprogram you will learn how to prepare wonderful Arabian pastries with our famous chef, Claire Browne and her Arabian kitchen assistant, Edith.
Firstly I’m gonna talk you a little bit of Saudi Arabia..is an Asiatic country in the Arabian peninsula.
The Arabian culture is codify by the Islamic religion. In this country they don’t have freedom of expression because of the rules that they must obey.There are many things that call the attention in this country, like the beautiful Arabian dancers. Firstly this woman were servants from the Sultan, they entertain him dancing sensually with hersamazing clothes, but as the time passed, this dance become an art for all over the world
About cookery, we can say that is a mix of the Arabian countries. The most common elements in Arabian kitchenare, yogurt, lamb, mint, thyme, tea, cinnamon, garlic, rice and saffron.
Edith : Indeed today she’ll show you this little pastries.. that you’re gonna love it! They’re call “Kaab al ghazal” and area great representation of Arabian pastries. Are delicious, with a crusty texture for the outside, and sweet and delicated inside.
First of all, the ingredients:
For the dough
250 gr of flour
1white of egg
20 gr of butter
1 cup of water
For the filling
320gr of powdered almonds
160 gr of sugar
1 egg yolk
Grated lemon rind
Half cup oh water

Preparation
To prepare de dough,introduce de butter into a bowl with water. Put the dough in the oven for 2 minutes, with a temperature of 50 degrees.
Take off the oven and add the flour and a white of egg , mix the dough by 15seconds and then knead it for 20.
To prepare the filling, put the almonds with the sugar in the bowl and crush with blender for 2 minutes. Then add the water , the yolk, and the grated lemon, mix...
