Extreme Ironing (also called EI) is an extreme sport and a performance art in which people take ironing boards to remote locations and iron items of clothing.According to the official website, extreme ironing is "the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressedshirt.
Part of the attraction and interest the media has shown towards extreme ironing seems to centre on the issue of whether it is really a sport or not. It is widely considered tobe tongue-in-cheek.
Some locations where such performances have taken place include a mountainside of a difficult climb; a forest; in a canoe; while skiing or snowboarding; ontop of large bronze statues; in the middle of a street; underwater; in the middle of the M1 Motorway; during a keirin race; whilst parachuting; and under the ice cover of a lake.The performances have been conducted solo or by groups.
The washer that washes without water
This machine works of the following form:
1.- As all, first you have to put theclothes, if it is not difficult that is washed.
2.- A cassette of plastic gets into the washer for the wash later there would get a glass of a liquid compound that contains waterand detergent.
3.- The water would dissolve the dirt and this one waters down later it will be absorvida for the virutas of plastic.
4.- When the wash is ended the shaving isextracted and throws itself to the garbage.
5.- To ironing!!
The creative company of this invention is called Xeros, has sedee in Catcliffe, it is believed that his ecologicaltechnology of wash might save thousands of million liters of water and like that to face to the climate change. This technology has created Xeros as a whole with Leeds's University.
