MENARA BOUSTEAD
The client wanted a corporate headquarters building which had to be completed over a very short period. The project was fast-tracked from design to occupancy.
MENARA MESINIAGAThis is a headquarters building for an electronics and business machine company (IBM's Malaysia agency). Both external and internal design features use a bioclimatic approach to produce anoperationally low-energy building that makes the most of the pleasant ambient tropical climate.
IBM PLAZA
The developers commissioned a design that would reflect the progressive nature of the company.The building is a 24-storey office tower linked by a curvilinear bridge to a two-storey restaurant/food-court block. The two forms are juxtaposed in a plaza. Surrounding roads are pedestrianised andpaved to meet adjoining shophouses.
PLAZA ATRIUM
The Plaza Atrium is a landmark commercial building for sale and rental. With a restricted site, it uses almost the maximum permitted plot ratio. Theground and first floors are for retail or bank use, with car parking integrated with the built form and offices from the second floor up.
BP TOWER
The tower is located on the edge of KualaLumpur, relocating offices from the central business district. The design features continuous vertical planting on the front face, stepping up the facade into a court on top of the car-park floors. Theplanting, besides contributing to the greening of the building, softens the impact of the car park facing the highway.
PENGGIRAN APARTMENT TOWERS
This project marks a new stage in the practice'sresearch, design and development programme by exploring the use of high-velocity wind at the upper parts of the tall building for ventilation and energy conservation.
TOKYO – NARA TOWER
