Killer Profile, another vision
Normally, we associate to the serial killers as cold humans, without any feeling, and we demonize and turn it, in my opinion, beings despicable, useless for ourpuritan society in which we live.
The truth is that these mens, are worthy for most intensive studies in psychology, psychoanalysis y criminology. Because not all of these have the same psychologicalprofile neither moral profiles, most of all, like we have seen in these movies (The Professional, The silence of the Lambs and Batman) they have ; unusual attitudes, cynical, isolated.
In the developingof this little essay, I pretend to analyze from a Freudian position the behavior and the phenomenology –The investigation of the phenomenon– But, ¿Why Freud? Just because the analysis of the behaviorof the human, are based in studies developed by Sigmund Freud. The particularity of this author is that all of his theories are substantiated in the sex and the conductism that we are subject.
Thefirst case that we go to analyze is Norman Stansfield, a murderer who has power, and enjoys the power –As any another mortal–, however this man has an abnormal pleasure by the music, manners someeccentrics, but too refined for a simple cop of the DEA. He’s an erudite, in all the sense of the word; this kind of assassins has an IQ high enough to be proud of himself, this conceit makes status inthis society, most of these have sudden cases like the syndrome of Stendhal, a curious psychological affection that leads the subject to get excited, emotionally, when they listen or see an work of artof profound beauty.
The case of Stansfield entails in the environment, the people less capable, (less intelligent) turns him to get angry, this angry was accumulating in the subconscious, withoutsublimation (psychoanalytic term for the activities in which the people sublimate or calm down the tensions thought activities morally accepted like the art or sports); without sublimation the subject...
