Fases del proceso de tratamiento del agua
Primera fase: anaerobia
Es donde llegan todas las aguas servidas de la ciudad. En esta lagunase realiza procesos naturales en ausencia del oxigeno. Aquí existen bacterias que no necesitan del aire para sobrevivir y se encargan de generar biogás q elimina las grasas flotantes en el aguaSegunda fase: facultativa
El agua de la laguna anaerobia pasa a la laguna facultativa. Debido al fenómeno de fotosíntesis nacen algas que purifica y contribuyendo al desarrollo de una fauna diversa.Tercera fase: maduración
Continúa en la laguna de maduración, en donde se enriquece la biodiversidad de organismos superiores y se elimina microorganismos indeseables en el agua a través de la radiaciónsolar
