A summary of his life is as follows

The Roman Empire had conquered many countries and ruled over them. Unlike other powers that had dominated regions of the Middle East, the Romans had a more advanced way to master. The Roman dominion was exercised using local kings or rulers that were favorable to Roman rule. Rome sent supervisors to monitor the various regions of the Roman dominion wasexercised effectively. There were small companies of soldiers who were in charge of ensuring the authority of Rome sent. In this way the Romans claimed that taxes and contributions were reflected in all domains. That allowed the empire to dominate vast areas for a relatively long time without too many incidents. But in Palestine was kept hatred and contempt for Rome, and for both, people longed for theappearance of the Messiah who would deliver the nation as believed.

Jesus was born around the year 0 AD. Yet many do not agree on the exact date which may have a variation of 30 years. Jesus born in Bethlehem of Judea. His parents were descendants of King David. His birth is announced to his mother Mary by an angel. Mary conceived by a virgin. Joseph and Mary were married. When Joseph learnedthat Mary was pregnant put her away secretly but an angel told him that was a matter of God.

Joseph and Mary lived in Nazareth of Galilee but due to a census that was done had to travel to Bethlehem when it was time Jesus was born.

The day of his birth shepherds were told by angels about the event. They went to Bethlehem to see the child. Jesus was born in a manger (or pen) they failed to findanother place to stay.

Joseph and Mary took Jesus to the temple of Jerusalem to fulfill the rite of purification after birth. In that place they met Simeon, an old man whom God had told him he would not die until he saw the Messiah. Simeon was a prophet. When Joseph and Mary were in the temple Simeon was led by God to know the child, Simeon took the child in her arms and said, "Lord, I canleave in peace, for I have seen your salvation." After this they returned to Bethlehem.

Later came wise men from the east bearing gifts. King Herod who ruled Judea interviewed and asked to return to be told who the child. The Magi did not return and the king gave orders to kill all children under 2 years of Bethlehem and its vicinity. But Jesus and his parents had escaped to Egypt.

After thedeath of King Herod, Jesus and his parents returned. But they returned to Bethlehem for fear that seek, but they moved to Nazareth where they had lived before.

Jesus was presented in the temple at the age of 12 years, as was the custom. At that time he astonished the teachers in the Temple with what he knew.

In the childhood of Jesus did not know much since the Bible gives no details ofthis. We assume that Jesus did miracles and taught it had not reached the time of his ministry.

When Jesus was 30 years came John the Baptist announcing the coming of the Messiah. Many people followed him and he began to baptize. God gave a sign to John the Baptist to meet Jesus.Although Jesus and John the Baptist were relatives, were unknown, they had lived separate and John the Baptist lived much ofhis youth in the desert. Jesus appeared to John the Baptist to baptize him and John saw the sign that God had told him and told everyone that Jesus was the Messiah. Later John the Baptist would be imprisoned by King Herod (the successor to the above) who would send him beheaded. When John the Baptist was in prison, he began to have doubts of Jesus and sent some people to ask if he really was theMessiah or not. Jesus said to those people who say John the signs they saw.

Jesus began to teach and heal people after being baptized. His teachings had to do with the true meaning of the will of God expressed in the Old Testament, that is, the Prophets and the Law of the Jews. These teachings clashed with the beliefs and lifestyle of the religious class, ie the priests and rabbis. This was...
