THE NARCISSISTIC DEFENSE
Psychoanalysis has evolved over time, they still use the main theories but have been given a therapeutic twist which also depends on most of the therapist, psychoanalysis"modern" handles new terms which are not very common and so understanding these terms is important, among which we find "the narcissistic defense."
Within the narcissism exist a large variety ofdefenses which are available for use by the person, but it is true that the narcissistic defense goes beyond this, is something a little more specific to what we were used with narcissism.
