Porque es importante la presurización
La presión del aire disminuye cuandoaumenta la altitud por lo cual resulta muy difícil obtener oxígeno necesario para el cuerpo a grandes alturas. Esta dificultad comienza a los 14.000 pies de altura, en donde todas laspersonas requeriríamos oxígeno adicional
Si no se presuriza el avión las personas tendrían que utilizar máscaras de oxígeno para evitar la carencia de oxígeno en la sangre (llamadaHIPOXIA). La falta de oxígeno en el cerebro causa descoordinación y reacción lenta motriz, falta de razonamiento lógico, mareos, pérdida de la conciencia y vértigo. Si no se actúarápidamente podría causar lesiones cerebrales permanentes.
