CENTRAL THEME
DJ Walters, age twelve, is caught in that awkward time between childhood and earlypuberty. It has lots of free time and has put between the eyes there is something strange about the old Nebbercracker house across the street. Things keep disappearing into the dilapidated building:basketballs, tricycles, toys and pets. And thinking about it, what happened to Mrs. Nebbercracker? Today is Halloween and following their candid friend DJ and Chowder have a run-in with Mr.Nebbercracker after basketball fall on your lawn and out mysteriously swept into the house. It tries to swallow their new friend Jenny and nobody believes them when they cry in the house scared that strangethings happen. It's time to investigate.
