La natación regional tiene listos a sus representantes para los Juegos Escolares

En la piscina del Mindep, se realizaron las finales para obtener a los deportistas locales que representarán la región en la competencia que se llevará a cabo durante septiembre en Coquimbo. Menores de entre 12 y 14 años, de las comunas de Natales, Porvenir y Punta Arenas sedieron cita para competir.
El fin de semana pasado, la piscina del Mindep fue escenario de la final regional de natación escolar, donde salieron los deportistas que participarán en los Juegos Escolares.
.Los deportistas participaron en 16 pruebas para damas y varones, representando a 10 establecimientos educacionales, todos de la comuna de Punta Arenas.
Los colegios y liceos que lograron ingresar asus deportistas a este campeonato regional son los siguientes:
-Liceo María Auxiliadora
- Liceo Nobelius
- Charles Darwin
Liceo Contardi
Las finales nacionales de natación y atletismo se realizarán entre el 7 y el 13 de septiembre en la Región de Coquimbo, hasta donde viajará una delegación de 40 deportistas, más sus respectivos técnicos.
El seremi del Deportes, Alejandro Olate, destacó laparticipación de escolares: “Quiero destacar la gran cantidad de nadadores participantes y, en especial, de los alumnos integrados, quienes junto a sus establecimientos han respondido al llamado del Ministerio del Deporte a participar. Esto como parte de la misión que se nos ha encomendado de integrar y dar las posibilidades a cada uno, desde sus capacidades, a practicar deporte”.
“El deporte escolar esalgo que estamos fomentando en los niños y jóvenes magallánicos, para poder motivar una vida saludable y deportiva desde temprana edad, por lo cual mantenemos diversos programas con los cuales el Mindep busca lograr este objetivo”.

In Mindep pool, the finals were held for local athletes who willrepresent the region in the competition that will take place during September in Coquimbo. Children between 12 and 14, in the towns of Natales, Porvenir and Punta Arenas were given appointment to compete.
The last weekend, Mindep pool hosted the regional final school swimming departure athletes participating in the School Games.
.The Athletes participated in 16 events for women and men,representing 10 educational establishments, all of the town of Punta Arenas.
Schools and colleges who managed to enter their athletes to this regional championship are:
-Liceo Maria Auxiliadora
- Liceo Nobelius
- Charles Darwin
-Liceo Contardi

Patagonian Magellan excelled in weightlifting
This activity was conducted in Argentina School, competing around 70 localathletes and Argentines. The categories were the U12, U15, U17, youth and adults, both ladies and men.
The weekend was held in Argentina Patagonian School weightlifting, sports event organized by sport Club Alexis Nahuelquén.
