lifestyles have changed dramatically over time. the industrial revolution is an example of a big change in people's lives. this revolution or major change started inGreat Britain the 1730s. At that time, many new industries, or businesses, were created. Most of these industries used new machines to produce goods.
the new industries in the cities needed workers.Many people moved from farms and small towns to the cities. people hoped for better lives in the cities.
The industrial revolution had positive and negative effects. Some people lived very well inthe cities. The cities had better transportation an better comunication. But they also had pollution, poverty, bad working conditions for many people, and child labor.
