Treatments for the Cure of Autism do they really exist?

Autism is a range of complex conditions in the neurodevelopment, characterize by social impediments, difficulties in communication and patterns of conduct. It’s a neurologic disorder that causes incapacity during the whole life. It’s characterized by the development of various conducts before the first three years of life. Themore recent investigations indicate that the prevalence is in between 1 to 150 births and is more common in boys that in girls in proportion of 4 to 1 . Shaw (1998)

Autism is manifestated in different stages. The more severe and strong form is known as Classic Autism. This type of autism has 3 different distinctive modes that are maintained throughout the whole life. These are: Socialdeterioration, Language deterioration and communication and also a restrictive range of activities and interests. There also exists others characteristics such as food disorders, sleep disorders and anxiety that tend to be considerate as secondary traits. Rapp (1992)

Another type of Autism is the Asperger syndrome which cause is unknown but is very probable that a brain anomaly could be thecause of this syndrome. The people whith the Asperger syndrome, frequently have difficulties at social level, many have intelligence above average of others and can perform in fields such as Computer programming and science. It doesn’t presents a delay in their cognositive development, neither in their abilities to take care of themselves and in the curiosity about their surroundings. A cure has not been found , but there are various treatments to teach them various abilities based on a series of simplesteps and using highly structured activities such as : Cognositive opsilotherapy to help the kids to deal with their emotions, repetitive behavior and obsessions , Capacitate their parents so they can learn techniques that can be used in their homes ., Physiotherapy and occupational therapy to help their motorized and sensorized abilities , Social contacts training and Speech therapy to helpwith their conversational abilities. The Rett syndrome represent almost exclusively to the girls. There are studies that have associated many of these cases with a Gene defect of the number 2 protein. Its affects approximately 1 out of 10,000 kids. A baby with the Rett syndrome generally has a normal development during the first 6 to 18 months. The symptom varies from minimumsto very strong like for example: Apraxia, the driveling, excessive salivation, flaccid arms and legs, intellectual incapacities, the head increment slowly and also strong problems in the language development. Even though the big technological advances of nowadays, a cure for Autism has not been found. But at least there exists various biological treatments that contribute to the better being of this condition. And it’s expected that in the long run, it will contribute to its cure.
