EVALUACIÓN DE TRES DIFERENTES DOSIS DE LACTOREEMPLAZANTE, MEZCLADO EN SUERO DE LECHE, PARA LA ALIMENTACIÓN DE TERNEROS HOLSTEIN HASTA LOS TRES MESES, Y SU EFECTO HASTA LOS SEIS MESES DE EDAD, EN LA HACIENDA EL PRADO

RESUMEN
El presente trabajo fue desarrollado pensando en los productores lecheros y en la gran necesidad de optimizar recursos y abaratar costos sin dejar de producir con calidad.Es por este motivo, que, la utilización de un lactoreemplazante en la alimentación de terneros constituye un paso importante para lograr satisfacer esta necesidad, ya que, en el caso del lactoreemplazante ISILAC empleado en la presente tesis, es un producto seguro, de buena calidad y que permite reducir notablemente los costos en la alimentación de terneros, al sustituirlo por la leche enteray destinando así ésta a la comercialización en lugar de ser empleada en los terneros.

Una de las alternativas que también se presentan en este trabajo es la utilización del suero de leche como disolvente del lactoreemplazante, aprovechando así este importante subproducto que normalmente es desechado, sin tomar en cuenta que este constituye una fuente de proteína para la alimentación.

Deesta manera el lactoreemplazante conjuntamente con el suero de leche, empleados en las dosis correctas, constituyen un sustituto de la leche entera, e incluso, con un mejor contenido de proteína que influye directamente en la ganancia de peso de los animales.

SUMMARY

The present work was developed thinking about the dairy producers and in the big need to optimize resources and to low theprice of costs without stopping producing with quality.

For this motive, the use of a milk replacement in the feeding of calves constitutes an important step to get to satisfy this need, since, in case of the milk replacement ISILAC used in the present dissertation, it is a sure product, of good quality and that allows to reduce notably the costs in the feeding of calves, on having replaced itwith the entire milk and destining this way this one to the commercialization instead of being used in the calves.

One of the alternatives that also appear in this work is the use of the whey of milk as dissolver of the milk replacement, making use this way of this important by-product that normally is rejected, without taking in account that this one constitutes a source of protein for thefeeding.

This way, the milk replacement jointly with the whey of milk, employees in the correct doses, constitute a substitute of the entire milk, and even, with a better content of protein that influences directly the profit of weight of the animals.
