The Industrial Revolution began in England. It is the time when humanity begins a new lifestyle in their culture, their social relationships, the way they produce, their market system, technology andother aspects.

The First Industrial Revolution (1750-1850). The plant replaces coal and coke used for blast furnaces. He invented the steam engine fueled by coal, but its performance is stillpoor.

The second industrial revolution coal and steel (1850-1899). Cities emerge in barracks near the mines and the founder. The steam is applied to transport trains and ships, driven by this newenergy.

The third industrial revolution (the generator and the combustion engine 1870). Electric motors and combustion are the defining phenomenon of the revolution. These engines allow mass productionand standard, giving order to the production stage craft ... drivers down water, electricity, gas, telephone and telegraph.



The fourth industrial revolution of scientific management (Farol andTaylor 1920). Located after the First World War. Establishing scientific management systems, and movements of the times and production chain.

The fifth industrial revolution (1945). Nuclear energy,transistors, computers: these three inventions synthesize a new stage called for postinduistrial society. Unlimited energy, electronics and calculating machines definitely open a new stage for humandevelopment perspective.

A summary of the most significant consequences of the industrial revolution emerges from the concepts discussed by R. Monsivais and S. Zorrilla.

a) The instruments ofcraft production were replaced by modern machines driven by steam power, and later, with other forces of energy, such as oil, electricity, etc..
b) Communications equally benefited by the use of steam,and appear like railroads and steamships.
