Письменная речь

Twenty years ago not many people travelled overseas for their holidays. The majority of people stayed to have holidays in their country. Today thesituation is different and the world seems much smaller. But is the tourism good for the popular destinations? To tell the truth, I think so. Tourism in developing countries isvery useful in development of economy. For instance, African, Asian, South and Central American countries may be appropriate examples to it. But I should note that likeanything, tourism has its disadvantages, especially mass tourism. I see 2 problems. The first one is that the environment is in danger. It’s not country of tourists, so they will notcare about surroundings. To evade it, authorities should be more attentive in seasons of tourism. The second one is that popular local areas are overcrowded and spoiled.Frankly speaking, I have no idea how to solve it. To draw the conclusion, I’d like to say that the tourism is an irreversible phenomenon, and we just should admit it.
