RESUMEN

The Cayambe city is located at northwest of Pichincha province. It was born from Kayambi town, Puntiatsil is monumental arqueologic place situated to 3 blocks from the park, In that place our old people realized their ceremonies in honor to their God, Besides It was usedlike astronomic observatory and solar calendar. Lamentablement, after that Spanish people came, these grounds passed to privated hands and they lost some vestiges of this culture, including the famous temple of Puntiatsil, that’s why that the inhabitants from this sector are ocuners of a big harsh culture. Pitifulment, this place is not known in Cayambe city; basic reason to select this proposal, tomake that Cayambe and its archeologic places can be known and visited for national and foreign people. Thanks for help of technology and audiovisual means I accomplished the development of a document based in the specific place, (Puntiatsil), to diffuse and promote to authorities and interested institutions for ransom the riches that exists in the canton. To realize this proposal will increasetoo much the of nationals and foreign people, At the same time it will better the quality of life for everybody that lives in this important sector of the city. Through of this proyect and to diffuse the audiovisual product, I propose rediscover all the know kedge that we inherit of our old people and recover the sacred places, cultural heritage of our old people, that represents our identity.

3RESUMEN

La ciudad de Cayambe ubicada al noroeste de la provincia de Pichincha fue el asentamiento del pueblo Kayambi, Puntiatsil sitio monumental arqueológico ubicado a 3 cuadras del parque, es lugar donde nuestros ancestros realizaban sus ceremonias en honor a sus Dioses, además era utilizado como observatorio astronómico y calendario solar. Lamentablemente tras la llegada de los españolesestas tierras pasaron a manos privadas y se perdieron varios vestigios de esta cultura, incluyendo el famoso templo de Puntiatsil, es por eso que los habitantes de este sector son dueños de un gran acerbo cultural. Lastimosamente este sitio no es conocido en la ciudad de Cayambe razón básica para haber elegido esta propuesta, hacer que Cayambe y sus sitios arqueológicos monumentales sean másconocidos y visitados tanto por turistas nacionales como extranjeros. Gracias a la ayuda de la tecnología y los medios audiovisuales se logro la elaboración de un documental basado en el sitio de estudio (Puntiatsil), para su difusión y promoción a autoridades e instituciones interesadas en rescatar la riqueza existente en el cantón. La realización de esta propuesta acrecentara de manera considerablela afluencia de turistas tanto nacionales como extranjeros, al tiempo que mejorara la calidad de vida de quienes viven en este sector importante de la ciudad.
