Football, also known as association football and called soccer, football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each and four arbitrators dealing with the rules areproperly followed. It is widely considered the most popular sport in the world, because it involved about 270 million people.1

The rectangular playing field is natural or artificial turf, with a goalat each end of the field. The object is to move to any part of the body except the arms or hands, and mostly with the feet (hence the name), a ball across the field to try to enter into the opposinggoal, action is called score a goal. The team that achieves the most goals at the end of the match, lasting 90 minutes, is who wins the game.

The modern game was created in England following theformation of the Football Association, whose rules of 1863 are the basis of the sport today. Football's governing body is the Fédération Internationally de Football Association, known by the acronymFIFA. The international football competition is the most prestigious World Cup, held every four years by the agency. This event is the most famous and most amount of viewers worldwide, doubling theaudience of the Games Olímpicos.2.
  
Football is played by following a set of rules, officially called rules. This sport is played with a spherical ball (of leather or other material with acircumference greater than 70 cm and not less than 68 cm and a weight not exceeding 450 g and not less than 410 g at the beginning of the game), where two teams of eleven players each (ten players "field" and agoalkeeper) compete to fit it in the goal, marking a goal. The team that has scored more goals late in the game is the winner, if both teams do not score or make the same number of goals, then it isdeclared a draw.
