Should our government should protect us from the unfairness of the punishments. Our government has some punishments thatare unfair to the people. For example they kill people for a sin that can be solved or different ways solve without involving violence. Puritan punishment should not remain the same because some areneeded and some punishments are not needed and harsh and even though there are consider a great punishment to use for a sin or crime.
The puritan punishments should not remain the same because someof doe’s punishments are not needed depending the sin or crime. Some of the punishment is not a good idea because they get killed or get harsh punishment, when they don’t have to get treated badly.For example “since Hester is young and because her husband has been missing so long, the judges given her this light sentence”. This means that by observing everything and what situation it is in it,you can make a wise choice. Some punishments are not fair and also their better ways to solve the sin or crime they have committed. By paying attention to sin you can see what has to happen.
Thesecond reason is that some punishment is not appropriate for the town so see. For example is to be killed in front of everyone of the town. Also it put some people in japery. Hester never said anythingback when people say bad stuff to her. Hester is so nice that “as time went on in fact, the people memory of her bad reputation began to banish” (Hawthorne, 83). It is trying to say that as long as youdo something good for someone else your reputation starts to disappear and you earn a new reputation that you are now known as.
If you have done something bad like a sin or crime. As long as you arerepent for it or if you seen to be proud of you self. At the same time you are making up for it you are on a good track to become a better person. Basically is that every action you take there is...
