* MUST es un verbo 'modal'. Los verbos modales en inglés son verbos que se usanpara expresar diferentes funciones como obligación, habilidad, opinión...etc. Se usan siempre con otros verbos.
Se usa: para hablar de obligación en inglés.
Se forma: con el sujeto + must + verboinfinitivo
AFIRMATIVAS
I must study
You must study
He/she/it must study
We must study
They must study
NEGATIVAS
La negación es "must not" (o su forma abreviada "musn't"), que significaque es necesario no hacer algo.
You musn't go there. | Tú no debes ir allí |
He mustn´t sell his house. | El no debe vender su casa |
INTERROGATIVAS
Y la forma interrogativa se construyecolocando "must" al comienzo de la
interrogación.
Must you water the garden? | ¿ Debes tú regar el jardín ? |
Must we play now? | ¿ Debemos nosotros jugar ahora ? |
* SHOULD
.Se trata de unverbo modal que se utiliza para expresar conveniencia, por ejemplo:
¿Que significa should? Podemos traducir should por "debería". Por ejemplo: "You should study more[iushudstadimor]." "Deberías estudiarmás."
Veamos algunos ejemplos: Ejemplo 1: I should work [aishud guork]. Yo debería trabajar.
Ejemplo 2: She should learn [shishud lern]. Ella debería aprender.
Ejemplo 3. It should work.[Itshud guork]. (Ello) Debería funcionar.
Ejemplo 4: They should play [deishud plei]. Ellos/Ellas deberían jugar.
Veamos ahora la estructura de "Should" en oraciones afirmativas:
