The process of writing combined with internet is a useful tool to help students to develop skills, not only in written English as Second LanguageLearning, but also in their social realities where the learning is important. Writers take into account their background, knowledge, needs, interests and ideologies in mind.
However, writing isnot only to put words on a paper. The writer has to keep in mind what the objective of the text is, who is going to read it, and the most important, what the possible reader reality is. For thisreason, in the process of academic writing, students follow three premises: the pre-writing, the feedback among students and the teacher, and the revision. Consequently, successful writing is enhanced whenit is based on the needs and the worldview of the learner. That is why the use of internet creates good conditions to generate ideas. And as a result, the teachers can take advantage of internettechnologies.
Internet can be used to teach English to teenage learners. Internet has the ability not only to create ideas in teenagers but also to encourage them to do research and tocollaborate among them. And the most important, they could develop their language skills such as reading, speaking and writing in English. Furthermore, young students are familiar with the tools internetprovides, such as the blog and online interaction.
Giving students topics that they really care is a good option to encourage them to write, using the internet combining the approach to write withthe objective to create an opportunity to develop the process of writing. In addition, choosing a relevant topic will help students to get excited to write in English and to collaborate with eachother.
