• New traits have been studied and correlated with effective leadership • Intelligence • Creativity • Emotional stability • Resilience • Attention to follower’s needs • Etc… The understanding is that if someone possesses these traits he/she will be more likely to be an effective leader

• Human interaction• Consideration for subordinates’ feelings, needs, concerns, and ideas
