Since the beginning ofeducation it has been through a series of changes that placed it in a very important position within the global society. The human being is constantly on the search for new knowledge. In the XIX century,education became a social, economic, political, and cultural project, because of changes caused by the Industrial Revolution leading philosophers to make education a field of study. It was in the XXcentury that researchers had the task of investigating the elements used for the process of teaching and learning, including the area of educational administration. (p.10). Today is the educationaladministration responsible for the operational, pedagogical and, administrative processes in an educational institution that will lead to the goal of providing education to their students.Educational administrator's career is extensive and requires that the individual is willing to go through a training process of learning. This profession covers many areas: supervision of employees,which represents one of the most difficult, budget management, decision making, and conflict management. That is why this career involves great responsibility. Although most educationalorganizations their managers have the appropriate academic preparation, it is important that knowledge is updated on a recurring basis as each day brings new standards, procedures, changes in technology that inone way or another affects the workplace. Then the person has to look for tools to improve his learning.
There are several ways that can be used to improve knowledge. In theinformation literacy education is a vital part of the ongoing learning process. However, it should be noted that if the administrator has no knowledge to use the information literacy in his favor it cannot...
