Human Resources Board for unfair dismissal claims

The meeting held today, Wednesday, August 5, 2007,at 11:00 am in the Board Room on the occasion of the Bicentennial cases of two employees who worked at the company until June 18 of this year and have wrongful terminationclaims submitted to the authorities, was attended by the Head of Human Resources Mr. Rodolfo Lara West, the Assistant Director of the department, Mr. Genaro Garcia Trueba,advisors who handled the layoffs: Lic . María Fuentes Lomeli and Ramiro Gonzalez Orozco, also present were two representatives of the Department of Legal Affairs of thecompany: Mr. Roberto Cavazos Rodriguez and Ms. Margarita Lorenzo Saenz.

The meeting lasted three hours and 45 minutes, time in which we studied the two cases, it wasnecessary to revise the labor records of the two involved, of course, performance and time worked in the company.
The first was Mr. Ignacio López López, who held the position offinancial advisor, his performance was described as "Very Good" by the Finance Department Director Dr. Ernesto Hube Andreson, worked at the company for eight years and wasdismissed for reasons of downsizing.
The second case was Ms. Patricia Ramirez who despeñaba in Salesperson position, had a very high plunged to achieve sales goals thatwere awarded annually, worked at the company for five years and was dismissed on the grounds of cut personnel.

He concluded, by unanimous decision, which was to negotiatea settlement with them to avoid going to trial, because as told by legal counsel present at the meeting, both Mr. Lopez and Ms. Case had good chance of winning the case.
